During a routine check up, our dentist can detect whether you have a cavity that needs to be filled.

Sugary and acidic food and drinks damage our teeth. Combined with poor dental hygiene, teeth start to decay very fast and require fillings to seal up holes that, in severe situations, could lead to a root canal treatment and even extractions.

If you are suffering from minor pain, or feel you have a hole in your tooth, don’t delay. Come to The Courtyard Dental Care for a dental X-ray and our dentist will determine the extent of the damage.

If you require fillings on a regular basis, you should also book an appointment with our hygienist for preventative dental care and dental hygiene education to discuss any bad habits that may be leading to decay.

You may also wish to consider a Denplan payment plan to help spread the cost of treatment

Call us on (02920) 576577 and schedule an appointment.

White Fillings

White fillings are also known as composite or direct fillings and are popular because they are affordable, can be colour-matched to your tooth so are very aesthetic and last five years or more.

After removing the decay, our dentist will use a special curing light to harden each layer of filling material. The Filling will be shaped to fit your tooth and polished so that it remains smooth and resistant to staining.

If you are interested in having some of your unsightly silver fillings replaced with white fillings please contact the practice on 02920576577
